What is this?

Back in the old days of the internet, googling for Bullshit used to bring up dack.com's web economy Bullshit generator.

Bullshitr came along a few years later to update the concept. The Web 2.0 name generator and what the fuck is my social media strategy brought their deliverables to the table too.

So it isn't like there isn't prior art.

The unique combination of Bullshitr2.0Beta++ is that it screen scrapes the existing generators to make a complete bullshit web application home page. Fuck yeh!

Who did this?

It was me! My name is Charlie Harvey and I do this sort of thing all the time.

How?

Using a bit of perl and some WWW::Scripter to call people's javascript functions. I borrowed a free theme from solucija.com.

Why?

I was a bit drunk.

Can I have the code? Can I help?

Sure, here is the bullshitr.pl source code. If you want to help out you could help me refresh the cache. Following that link goes off and fetches lots of bullshit, processes it and makes a new page in the cache. Just leave your browser window open while it chugs away for a couple of minutes.
